Dr. Myles Starkman

Dr. Myles Starkman is the founder of Oasis Chiropractic Center in Coral Gables, Florida, where he has cared for patients for more than 40 years. His work combines chiropractic care, functional neurology concepts, brain-based wellness, and supportive therapies to help children and adults improve nervous system function, reduce stress on the body, and feel and function better.

Dr. Starkman works with patients who are looking for a more complete approach to health. Many come to Oasis for help with neck and back pain, headaches, chronic stress, fatigue, brain fog, balance and dizziness, concussion recovery, anxiety, and nervous system dysregulation. He also has a strong interest in pediatric neurodevelopmental concerns, including ADHD, autism spectrum support, sensory processing challenges, primitive reflexes, coordination issues, learning difficulties, and developmental delays.

His path into chiropractic began when he hurt his back at 19 years old while painting a baseboard. After experiencing how quickly chiropractic care helped him, he became fascinated by the relationship between the spine, nervous system, stress, and health. That personal experience led him to Sherman College of Chiropractic and shaped a career focused on helping people improve their quality of life through better brain-body function.

Over the past four decades, Dr. Starkman has cared for thousands of patients and has had the opportunity to work with the Miami City Ballet, several Miami professional sports teams, local and visiting celebrities, and international clients. While those experiences have been memorable, his greatest satisfaction comes from helping patients understand what is going on in their body and creating a practical plan to help them move, heal, adapt, and function better.

At Oasis Chiropractic Center, care may include chiropractic adjustments, functional neurology-based exercises, craniosacral therapy, laser therapy, PEMF, frequency-specific microcurrent, BrainTap, Interactive Metronome, vestibular and eye movement work, and other supportive therapies.

Dr. Starkman’s philosophy is simple: when the nervous system is calmer, more connected, and better organized, the body has a better opportunity to heal, adapt, and thrive.
